Well I got my tapes of Skate America and Skate Canada yesterday. After really not liking this team over the last couple of years I finally think they did a couple of programs I really liked. I think their choice of music for the FD suited them and they are a lot less frantic in their moves. They also seemed to let the skating speak for itself this time instead of trying to be overdramatic. I was not surprised they won both events. I always felt they were good techincal skaters with just god awful programs but now they are on the right track.
I must say the season is turning out very interesting. Maybe the new judging system is working.
