The line up still sounds too unreal. Is it a joke or what? I cannot imagine how they can come up with skating news every single day. Also, the "Ice Storm" part (see below) sounds actually scary, to say the least, as if we don't have enough real-life trouble in skating.
I hope they don't spend time doing such silly things. I hope they can focus more on the real skaters and their performances. I won't mind if they recycle all the GP stuff from years ago. It will be a perfect time for all of us to tape all the stuff we missed.
I already can see myself surrounded by 5000 tapes and refuse to get out of the house.

“Ice Storm” (Live by tape delay, Mon-Fri, 2:30-3:30 p.m.) (Entertainment)

If this is for real, I would like to see old competitions and competitions that usually are not televised such as regional and sectional. It would also be cool to have national championships from various countries. There is so much skating competition that there is little need for silly shows.

This sounds almost too good to be true. My friends and I have been daydreaming about a Skating Channel ever since they introduced the Golf Channel.
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see a lot more of US competitions than we are already getting via ABC. They have first rights and I believe are granted sanctions automatically from the USFSA. This is why we see so much skating now on ESPN, Lifetime and The Family Channel - all ABC owned.
But you can never get enough skating as far as I'm concerned so I will appreciate whatever they show.
I would look forward to seeing some of the Canadian specials we never got to see in the states over the years. Next time I see Michael Rosenberg at an event, I'll have to remember to thank him in person and wish him much success.
