Airs 3 times on W and once on CBC:

Friday the 13th (!) at 8:00 pm, on W
Saturday the 14th at 1:00 am, on W
Sunday the 14th at 4:00 pm, on W
Sunday the 14th at 9:00 pm, on CBC (oops, Sunday, not Monday as I posted earlier)

So there's no excuse to miss it ... if you're in Canada. ;)

The cast: Jamie Salé & David Pelletier, Jennifer Robinson, Brian Orser, Jeffrey Buttle, Angela Nikodinov, Elena Grushina & Ruslan Goncharov, Jennifer Kirk, and Shawn Sawyer.

Anyone know what the 'mystery figure skating program' is on CBC on 12/21/02? The CBC website doesn't specify.

Being in the Detroit area I receive CBC, also. We are especially fond of 'Hockey Night in Canada'.

Thanks,
Denise

sspye -- did you try www.tvguide.ca? You can sometimes get more info from it.

Suzanne, thanks for the link. I need a 'postal code' to view. I'll find a postal code for Windsor. LOL

Thanks, I really appreciate the link!!!

sspye -- I just checked, and it's Ice Wars that's on from 3 to 5 p.m. on CBC that day.

Oops, forgot to say that Kurt is in too. For some reason he wasn't listed in that list I posted before, which I got from one of the TV guide sites.

Wouldn't be Christmas without Kurt!

As everyone who just tuned into the W Network hoping to catch a sneak preview of this year's Holiday Festival On Ice show tonight probably knows by now, they're actually broadcasting the 1999 Holiday Festival On Ice show instead. :( I'm not sure any of the other W Network broadcasts will be of this year's show, either...but if you missed seeing the 1999 show three years ago, it was still pretty good!

HaHaHa. They got me, too. The 1999 HFOI! Really!
Anyway, it gave me another chance to see Roca and Sur, which is a GOOD THING.

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa!

I guess if I'd stopped to think about it, it wasn't too likely that 2 totally unrelated Canadian networks would both be showing the same show.

The 1999 show had some not bad performances, but pretty over the top in the cheeze category. Especially the "commentating" (Judy B.). I like Kristi too, but Judy talks about her in this sighing voice that makes her (Kristi) sound like some sort of skating miracle.

And as much as I love Kurt, I think he could have found a more appropriate program for a "holiday" show than "Play That Funky Music"!

And they chacked Brasseur and Eisler!

The 2002 HFOI was waaaay better!
