Missing Shae and Vic....
Has anyone seen their new competitive programs? How are they? Are they competitive with L&A's?
Plus, has anyone seen them practicing? How's Shae's injury? Have they been able to go all out in practice yet?

I read in the local paper....they are advertised as skating in this show-- I think it's next week. Anyone know if they'll be there? Anyone going?
Hi!
The show in Newmarket is acutally on December 20th. I read somewhere recently (I think it was here actually) that Shae-Lynn and Victor have pulled out. :( Hopefully it's not because of her injury.

I can't say I'm surprised. When I read it, I doubted that they would participate after losing so much practice time because of her injury. I'm sure they want to devote as much time as possible to practicing.
Does anyone know if they are competing in the Sears Open, or is there no dance in that event again this year?

Nope, no dance event at Sears. :(
Or Hallmark. :(

Shae's been back on the ice for about two weeks now I think, maybe longer. Their programs look good, I just saw the FD yesterday and they've made the ending more difficult since I last saw it. I haven't seen the OD lately but I like it better than what I saw from L&A at CoR. (For those who didn't know, Shae and Vic are using the same polka as L&A). It's funny, the first thing I noticed was that they do the straight-line footwork to the same section of the music, and unless Shae and Vic have changed theirs recently, the sequences are kind of similar. I think Shae and Vic are faster, but that could be the difference between watching on TV and watching in person, I always think skating in person looks faster. I haven't seen L&A's FD yet, but this is shaping up to be another really intense season.
