Thanx for all the info! Sounds like a lot of Jamie and David in December! Along with my birthday, that makes December pretty awesome. I can't wait. :)

Yup, TRAxel, they're one and the same! Shawn Sawyer will be performing in this year's Holiday Festival On Ice as well...too bad it'll only be broadcast in a 60-minute timeslot this year.

OMG! Are we really going to see B/S, S/P and S/Z in Hallmark Skater's Championships this year? This is absolutely wonderful. I assume this is the artistic program, right?

OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! :D

Oh my God!!! I hope you are not joking!! We now have all the SLC medalists S&P, B&S + S&Z in one competition???!!!!!!! This is too good to be true. I think the press will go wild on it.
Unfortuately, it will be covered by my least favorite network, NBC. Anyway, I don't care. I am just glad to see Elena and Anton competiting again!!! Yaaaahooooo!!!!!!!

I just posted on another topic about how disappointed I was about the most recent lineup of skaters scheduled to compete at this year's "event formerly known as World Pros" are (with the exception of Yuka) all still technically-eligible skaters, but realizing this is the first time the three Olympic pairs medallists will be competing against each other since SLC will make this event a little more exciting to watch for me! I just hope NBC will cover this "rivalry" with a little more class than they handled the whole "Pasha/Sasha/Maya/Evgeny" partner switching from 1998 World Pros...

Sorry guys - no B&S. IMG sent out an old cast list, it's actually S&D competing.

I can't believe the IMG people didn't care to check their list before sending this out. How irresponsible it is for them to set us all up!

My respect for Yuka Sato just increased after reading this updated list of competitors--not only is she the only "technically ineligible" skater on the list, she's also competing against an overwhelmingly-eligible field in not one, but two separate disciplines (which I thought was an impressive-enough feat last year when this event was all-pro!)

As for B&S not competing in this event after all, of course I'm disappointed not to see the two Olympic pairs champions face off again, but I'm also a little relieved we won't have to see one of those cheesy "rivalry" fluff pieces NBC does so well (or so poorly, depending on how you look at it!)

It's a little disappointing that Elena and Anton are not competing. But it's okay. It's not as if they're retiring. I know there will be future opportunities to see them again.

Yuka is really amazing, to compete in 2 events is tiring. I wish her all the best in both events. She's a really beautiful skater.:D
