Say, I hope this can go here. But I was just wondering what everyone's Figure Skating Club is doing for thanksgiving?

Nothing. The rinks are closed. I've never heard of a club doing anything for Thanksgiving.

Forget Thanksgiving! We're working on Christmas! We have a huge public concert with the local symphony this weekend, and our own recital in a month.

During Thanksgiving week, we have "reverse skate", where everyone has to skate in the reverse direction from normal. Otherwise, we're having all sessions as normal. We have a competition coming up December 8th, which is a general holiday comp and show.

Could you please define exactly how reverse skate works with Thanksgiving? I'm just a skating fan, so I don't understand. Thanks.

It doesn't - they're just trying to do something different, and figured it would be a good week for a reverse skate, since there will probably be fewer people on the sessions.
