There was an ad in the Saturday/Sunday Journal Inquirer with information on the show. The ad pictures Sasha Cohen, Isabelle Brasseur & Lloyd Eisler, Acrobats Besedin & Polishuk, Lucinda Ruh, and Naomi Lang & Peter Tehernushev as participants. Music is by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.

The show will be on Saturday, Dec. 14, 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hartford Civic Center, Hartford CT.

As the ad states,

"Admission is one free ticket and one wonderful, new, unwrapped toy per person. Tickets will be distributed Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at these locations:

ctnow.com Meadows Music Centre, Hartford and the following Salvation Army Thrift Stores:
166 Union St. , Rockville (Vernon)
165 Arch St., New Britain
801 Silver Lane, East Hartford
160 Shield St., West Hartford
1359 Dixwell Ave., Hamden"

You may contact United Technologies Symphony On Ice information hotline at 860.493.4003 if you have questions or need directions to ticket locations. The ad also says group tickets will be available on a first-come , first served basis at the Meadows Music Centre on Nov. 23. Group requests must be for 10 to 25 tickets, and you must supply the name of the organization, address, phone # and contact name.

Sounds like a great show, and all the toys go to needy children through the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots campaign!

Just a note - I believe Sasha's also doing the ABC Sports International Figure Skating Challenge on December 13th, so if she is to do this show as well, it would be rather tight on time (possible, just a caution, I'd double check to see if she was first if you plan to go and watch her).

Definitely check it out if you have a chance. I skated in this show one year when I was twelve or so and had a great time.
