Michelle at Toys are Us

I had the good fortune of taking the bus...2 1/2 hours to NYC on Thursday to see Michelle at the Times Square Toys R Us. She was there as part of a tree lighting ceremony for Disney. There was an hour and 45 minute autograph and photo session afterwards. For those of you who are MK fans she was absolutely beautiful. More importantly, she was so gracious. She took the time to talk to every person who came through the line, and there were lots of people. I was wearing my "kwanette" T-shirt and she commented on it, says she reads MKF and "you guys are so sweet." I had a few gifts for her...Junior Mints, a gold skate with the date of her OLY exhibition and Fields of Gold on it, and a skater wearing a gold dress and the same inscription, plus 3 cards. I was in Heaven...I stood and looked at her and took so many pictures...Hopefully, the one with her and me will turn out.In addition, Paul Wylie was there as he works for Disney. I had my picture taken with him, also, and got to chat a bit with him. But it was MK who made my day.

kwanette - do you know if they showed any of this on the nightly news on NBC in NY? I would think they would - but I'm out of town so I didn't see any news.

adrian, I don't know. I stayed there until 6 and then had to catch a bus home. I know that she was on a Fox Show that morning, but I have no idea about the news that night and no one posted anything about it on MKF. There were people filming it, however...Don't know what that was about, tho'.

I just spoke with a friend of mine who lives on Long Island and her mom did see it on the Friday morning NY News..
