Yeah! Sounds like Brian skated great in his second number! Does anyone have a more detailed review? I'm dying to know what Brian did for his technical number.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to add a few details from Ice Wars. Sorry if I skip all over the place. Brian's second number was skated to Fernado's Hideaway
( the same music which Sasha Cohen has skated to ) He actually lit a match and then pulled out a cigar to light. I remember that he had a hat and pinstiped suit on. He skated well. Nicole did a medley from the Broadway Musical Mamma Mia for her first number and I'm not really sure what her second number was but the costume was very pretty. It was white and she had a mask with feathers on in the beginning. I thought Kurt did a nice job with both of his numbers although I feel that maybe he was little undermarked in the first one which was Glad to Be Alive or something along those lines. I think he wanted a triple/triple combo but had to settle for triple/double in the program alas perhaps reason for the wide range of marks. He skated his second number (Crash from CSOI) before Scott. Scott was the last to skate. Scott skated to Figaro for the first number and Double Bogie Blues although he didn't jump over his golf bag in this performance. Maria did a arabian themed program for her second number with a lot of hand movements. I think Tara was nursing her hip again because it seemed as if she was having trouble with both her programs but I think her first one might be something from this year's SOI. It hand a lot of hand movements and some good footwork. Ilia was incredible. WOW! I read some of the judges listed. I know that Frances Dafoe was also a judge. I remember that name. It was a great evening and I must say the Manchester audience was excellent. I hope that they impressed the producers of the show enough to bring Ice Wars back again because I'd surely travel to see the show again. Remember to watch or tape on November 30th.

Sorry to be picky, but in case this gets perpetuated ... the song is actually "Hernando's Hideaway." (not Fernando -- oh no we're back to ABBA again!)
It's from the musical "The Pajama Game."

Thanks to everyone who posted reviews (or links to reviews) of this event so far. I found a couple more here:
http://pub1.ezboard.com/fmichellekwanforumskatingchat.showMessage?topicID= 7316.topic
And here (this one only mentions Tara's performances, though):
http://pub12.ezboard.com/ftarafanworldtaratory.showMessage?topicID=4009.top ic
Unfortunately, a lot of posters on both of these threads are talking more about Tara's weight (or lack thereof) than about the actual competition itself.

Thanks Artemis for pointing out my typo. I noticed that I made a few other typos in the post as well. I can always use a good proofreader. :)I'm sorry but I was tired and just trying to post a few other things that I could remember without having notes.
