I just got an Elvis Tour pamphlet in the mail and I noticed that there are many names listed as skaters
one name that confused me was Emily Manley
immediately I assumed it was a misprint and was meant to be Elizabeth Manley but as I was checking the sectional results for eastern ontario I noticed that there was a girl named Emily Manley (3rd place in Pre Novice Ladies) and I was wondering if this is the same girl who is skating on tour with Elvis.....if so this girl is extremely lucky and I was wondering how she would get such an amazing opportunaty...if any one has any info on this please post

As I don't know Emily Manley I can't be sure... But I've seen listings of the cast for the tour WITH Elizabeth Manley.

To the best of my knowledge, Emily Manley (the pre-novice skater) is the niece of Elizabeth Manley. I presume that she is the "guest" amateur skater for one (Ottawa) or more of the tour stops in the same way that Jeff Buttle and others are being included.

At the NF show it was Greening and Sutherland the novice Silver Medallists.

That would be neat if Emily did get to skate in the same show as her aunt.

Emily skates with me, she is a pre novice skater that recently this weekend just placed 3rd in eastern ontario. She's Liz's neice is the guest skater in the ottawa area. Good luck to here in the eastern challenge in a couple of weeks

The Ottawa show was great and Emily Manley did a superb job :)
Liz commented (while we were waiting for a few retakes) that she could now think about retiring as there was another Manley on the scene.

The show was taped by CBC for airing sometime in January.

The cast included: Elvis, Rudy, Dan, Liz, Tara, Surya, Emily, Elizabeth & Jared, Anton & Elena, Jamie & David, Irina G (and her hula hoops), & the Ukranian acrobats. Philippe made a special appearance (ending up in the lap of a woman about 4 seats from me!)
