You know, I was reading one of the articles when I came across a Tarasova quote...

"A great talent comes along once every 10 years and she is it," said Cohen's new coach Tatiana Tarasova, who molded Alexei Yagudin (news - web sites) into an Olympic and four-time world champion.

... and of course, being a huge Oksana fan, Oksana came to mind right away. Then low and behold, next sentence:

"Sasha is a talent like Oksana Baiul (news - web sites)," Tarasova added in reference to Ukraine's waif-like 1994 Olympic champion.

Tarasova was thinking the same thing 8-) Makes me miss Oksana though...

Look at that Ina Bauer...talk about stretch and position...talk about presenting an element, WOW! Breathtakingly beautiful and athletically amazing!

It occurred to me when I saw this pic that Tatiana Tarasova must be having a GREAT time. Having a student like this must be pure heaven to her, not that she hasn't had others...beginning with Rodnina, but you know what I mean.
