Tickets went on sale yesterday for the ABC Sports Challenge on December 13th at the Palace of Auburn Hills outside Detroit. Event time is 8pm.
On the USFSA website, they're listing the following skaters for the event:
Sarah Hughes
Alexei Yagudin
Michelle Kwan
Irina Slutskaya
Evgeny Plushenko
Tim Goebel
Sasha Cohen
Michael Weiss
Looks like they're going to follow the same format as the earlier event in Daytona Beach with only eligibles and no professionals.

Good seats are already sold out - it seems the tickets have been available at the box office before they went on sale at Ticketmaster from what I was told.

They only went on sale yesterday. Monday they had the information, but tickets were not on sale. I was still able to get 3rd row seats late last night on Ticketmaster - only the two center ice sections were sold out completely - the sections immediately to the side of center ice were still available.

They must have released more seats - at some point last night, the Ticketmaster site wasn't pulling up any $55 seats!

I bought tickets just last week. I don't know what section I am in, but it says no higher than first section etc. they were $55 each so they better be pretty good!

I bought two seats at that price, it said first level or lower. That's good right? Can anyone give me an idea how close I will be?

Hannahclear,
Did you order your tickets through Ticketmaster? If so, you should have recieved the location of your seats when you ordered (it would be in your confirmation email, if you ordered them online).
I found a seating chart, here (just ignore the "floor" seats) http://www.palacenet.com/content.cfm?category=1&pageid=800 And you should note that rows AA-FF are before A-R of the lower bowl.

Hmm. Will be interesting to see if Hughes and Yagudin are recovered in time to skate in this event. Will also be interesting to see who is chosen to replace them if they are not able to skate.

Row FF in the 100's section, this is good, yes? Pretty close?
Found confirmation email, never thought of that, it was under my hubby's email, cuz it was his credit card.

Kwan is no longer listed for this event.
I bought two tix, three rows from center ice, plus airfare to Detroit. All that cash, down the drain. I enjoy some of the other skaters but I purposely bought these for my aging grandmother who really wanted to see Michelle live.
I sent a letter to people at the Palace to find out if refunds would be offered.
