After his inappropriate and rude comments about the men's figure skating championship at the Olympics, I can't really wish him well, but I can wish him what he deserves, with a healthy dose of humility for him too.

LOL. I'm sure he's crushed that you don't wish him well, Schmeck. LOL Heaven forbid we live in a world where people have an opinion about their sport. LOL

Wow okay. Didn't see that one coming. Although she is a nice girl but 11 years difference in age! I had the privilege of meeting them both this past March at a three day seminar. She was pretty quiet and didn't say much.

So. My husband is 15 years older than me and we've been together for over 17 years. Happy is happy. We shouldn't fall into this age-appropriate judgmental stuff.

But enough of that - how was the seminar? where was it?

The seminar was located somewhere where I doubt you even know is in Ontario Canada, way up north.

It was 3 days. I wish we could have spent more time on ice working on jumps and things. We only had an hour of jump lessons, one hour of spins and footwork, one hour with this choreographer on ice (completely pointless) and then an off ice session with Elvis and two off ice sessions with the choreographer a day. Gladys and Elvis skated during our lunch break so we got to see him do triples which was the best part!!

That's wonderful! I'll bet spending time in Mexico away from the figure skating world has been really good for bringing a sense of balance and perspective to Elvis' life. And age is irrelevant when it comes to soulmates. My husband is more than 10 years my senior but that age difference has never had any effect on our relationship or our ability to connect with each other. We have been extremely happy together for almost 14 years now, and I hope they will be just as happy.

And I can have an opinion about him as well, and express that too, which makes it a wonderful world...

Wow, Elvis finally has joined us married skating folk! Glad he has married a friend. The best soul mates are friends first because married life is mosty about spending time with your best friend. If you loved one is not your best friend (other than Christ Jesus) and then once the newness of the relationship wears off and the being in love part wears off, you've got nothing for your marrage to stand on. Sex only gets you so far. Watch Elvis and Gladys be together forever.

Yes you can... but Elvis knows his sport intimately, thus there's authenticity in his opinion... your opinion is based on your own personal views of something you're guessing about... *LOL*
