Congratualtions to the Haydenettes, who won a bronze medal at Synchro Worlds in Colorado Springs over the weekend. The Crystallettes (Team USA 2) finished 9th.
This was Hayden's 10th consecutive trip to worlds and their first medal, and only the second trip to the world podium for the US (Miami won silver in 2007). The Crystallettes, in their second trip to worlds (last one was 2004) met their goal of finishing in the top 10.
Top 10 teams:
1st--Finland 1 (Rockettes)
2nd--Finland 2 (Marigold)
3rd--USA 1 (Haydenettes)
4th--Canada 2 (black Ice)
5th--Canada 1 (Nexxice)
6th--Sweden 1 (Team Surprise)
7th--Russia 1 (Paradise?)
8th--Germany 1 (is this still Team Berlin?)
9th--USA 2 (Crystallettes)
10th--Japan
More info and complete results can be found on Ice Network, and videos should be up soon.
Really anxious to see the videos and kind of sad I couldn't be there (especially to cheer on the Crystallettes), but the timing with adult nationals the week after didn't work in my favor :(
