Show Costume - need ideas

My DD has feature for this year's ice show. The theme is Rock N' Roll and she is skating to "Old Time Rock n Roll" by Bob Seager. She has some leather looking lycra pants that she wants to wear, but we are stumped on what to put on top. She has an asymetrical silver top that she wore last year (70's theme), but wants something different. Any ideas?

There are tons of t-shirts with "Rock and Roll" on them; often already glittered and blinged up ... she could pull one of those on over the pants.

Or, google Joan Jett and the BlackHearts: that's old time girl rock :)

She could get a long-sleeved mesh top and wear that-put something under it in a contrasting color and that would look nice. Not sure what color the pants are but if they are in a color she could wear black mesh and a color that complements the pants. Add a glitter belt and something in her hair like a glittery scrunchie that matches. Maybe some bangle bracelets.

Thanks for the ideas...will google Joan Jett. The pants are black "leather." She has short blonde hair - think Caydee Denny - so hair accessories beyond headbands don't work.

I like S@D's idea with the mesh top. Since the pants are black, maybe a black mesh layer with a neon camisole or something underneath? If you're in the States, Discount Dance Supply has a couple of different mesh tops.

For hair, a "claw" headband (I have no idea what it's actually called - something sort of like this: http://www.goody.com/#/grid/colourcollection/products/black_headband ) would pull it back off her face, but still give a little lift.
