Say,is there any skater here willing to come to a Public Skate at my Rink and give me a few more tips with my moves,etc.? I go to Newington Ice Arena.

I don't think the professionals at your rink would like it if people did that - you're far better employing one of them for a lesson, if only casually.

Newington falls into the Eastern Region of Connecticut's special olympics programs. If you follow this link, http://www.soct.org/about/localprograms.shtml, they list the Eastern Region's contact person and email/phone number.

Perhaps you or your staff can contact them about lessons and coaching?

Well, normally in my rink (in Singapore), not allowed to give tips to other public skaters unless it is an authorised coach. So your best bet is to check with your ice skating rink. If you are going there to skate often, and want to have lesson with their instructors, it is better that you are on good terms with them.
