Hmm, just saw Plushenko did withdraw, so it's two unknowns for Russia . And found out that Johnny Wier is skating in his show in Russia.

Yes so it still should be an interesting competition nonetheless.
I noticed that they have 48 men and women competing but only 24 go onto the long program. That seems like a lot to eliminate after the short program.
Do they normally have that many at a World championships??
I feel bad for the judges having to sit there for so long with only short breaks..
