You know how they tell you too much of something good can be bad? I have to wonder... I've seen quite a load of skating already myself and its just the beginning of the season. All counted, I've been to 2 club competitions, 2 USFSA regionals, 4 ice shows all in the past 2-3 months at most. Its highly addictive - I find myself wanting more all the time! 8O

So anyone got similar experiences to share? :P Tell me I'm not alone, and have retained my sanity! ;)

Let's see.... five club competitions and two Regionals in the last six months. I think I spent a grand total of $13 on admission. :)

See you at Skate Canada and Easterns, Adrian. :8)

This year, I'm aiming for Regionals-->Sectionals-->Nationals-->Worlds for the very first time. I almost feel like I should write a book.

Louis, Forgive me for sounding rude ,but...you have never been to World's ? I am astonished- or do you mean you have never been to all of the events you mentioned in one season ?

Trixie, I meant that I had never been to all of those events in the same season (though I have done Regionals-->Sectionals-->Nationals twice), but I've actually never been to Worlds, period. The last two times Worlds were in North America, U.S. Nationals were on the east coast (once in my hometown!) and I didn't have the budget to do both. This year, I should be able to attend both Nationals and Worlds because I have free accommodations with friends at both events.

So far I've been to watch Euros in Lausanne, been to 2 Open competitions (qualfiers for Nationals), have tickets and accommodation ordered for the British Championships.
I was also at the Royal Ice Gala in Nottingham, which was great!!

Watched several videos of skating, repetitively, at home.

I wish I could go more often, but it's the cost, the children, the husband....lol....;)
