Say,did anyone else notice anything about the Broadcast of the Olympic Pairs Short Program? They kept interrupting ing with the Speed Skating. Let alone (according to Heather) it's 7-11pm here. EST. YetI didn't even start at 7. Did anyone (or does) anyone else notice this?

I didn't have that problem, it said for me that it started at 7:30pm and it did. I watched it on Sports Net and it showed the full event.

FSWer- that's the way NBC works during the Olympics. They split the event up during the whole broadcast that way you have to stay and watch the entire thing. If it's too late to stay up, then it's best to tape/DVR it and watch the next day when you can fast forward.

I think you just helped me out Jessie. I think what they did was edit HALF the deserved skaters just for dumb updates. Either that or they to think everyone can access icenetwork.

I guess NBC figured that americans only wanted to watch the better skaters and edited the first half of the skaters only showing the top level competitors live. In Canada we had one channel Sportsnet showing the entire event and another CTV simply showing us the highlights and last two groups of skaters.

Sportsnet is a Canadian sport network affiliated with CTV. So we can watch the "regular" broadcast on CTV, showing mostly highlights plus the final flights, or the full competition on Sportsnet.

NBC Olympics has a full video replay available on their website.
I do not know if WebTV can play the videos because it requires special software.
Give it a try, FSWer:

Click on a link with little video camera and the words "FULL REPLAY" to start the video.

I can TRY. But I don't think my browser supports it. Anyone know when Bob Walker's site and others will have the Photos up? Or do they wait untill the complete end? Yes I tried Google. If there is anything...I can't get it to know what I want. I just tried the link and at this point I can't connect to the site to check it.
