In the Blades October issue it mentiom that Marrie Parr and Scott Corbin had paired up. Are they plan on competing this year at mids.
Also is Laura Handy skating with Jermey Allen. Its was rumored.
It also mention in Blades that Allen tried out with Kimmie Messiner or would have if she was older.

It's been reported elsewhere online that Merrie Parr/Scott Corbin have a bye to the Pacific Coast Sectional. I believe she is originally from the NW Pacific region (Seattle area) but they train at the Detroit SC? Will they compete as a senior or junior pair, anyone know?
I've heard that Laura Handy/Jeremy Allen will compete at Easterns in senior pairs.
Kimberly Meissner is competing in singles only this season -- she was second in Novice ladies at South Atlantics this weekend and advances to Easterns.

What happened to the team of Handy & Hunt? They showed a lot of promise, I thought....
And wasn't she waiting for Paul Binnebose to come back at one point?

They split up, Hunt is skating with Jennifer Don this season. Count me in as not-disappointed, Handy & Hunt always looked like an awkward matchup to me.

Handy and Hunt broke up after a difficut US National competition last year. I think that loosing out to Inoue/Baldwin and Orscher/Lucash was too much to handle. Particularly after they had been selected to compete in grand prix events and the other tow teams had not.

The biggest problem I saw was what appeared to be disinterest on Laura's part. Could be completely wrong there, but that's what was coming across.

I don't think nerves in Laura's case helped, either (I understand her practices go way better). But Don and Hunt by all reports seem to be a good match, so hopefully it all worked out.
