“American Idol’s” Jordin Sparks, 16-year-old singing sensation Charice, pop/rock boy band Honor Society and the spunky five-girl band KSM perform with the star-studded cast of Olympic, World and National Figure Skating Champions to raise awareness for heart disease. The two-hour US Cable Television Premiere of “Skate for the Heart,” on Monday, February 8 (6p.m. ET/PT, 5C) is hosted by Michelle Kwan, the most decorated figure skater in U.S. history, and legendary skater Peggy Fleming.

I'm watching this on NBC now and I'm about to turn it off.


There's some ******** girl who is constantly SCREAMING. I always thought overly chatty announcers were the worst part of skating - this girl is out of control and the recording technicians at the show didn't correct the problem.

I don't even like the live music + skating shows to begin with because the skating is interrupted to focus on the musical performers. This moron just ruined the audio as well.

Awful - just sent NBC and Disson Skating a complaint.

I fast forwarded through the ENTIRE thing...it was horrible. Everything from the musical performers to the constant selling of various items (metabolife, fish oil, etc, etc).

Plus we had just seen a lot of these skaters recently at exhibitions, so I didn't really need to see those routines again.
