Chris has retired from competitive skating. He currently coaches and is a technical specialist for pairs.

It means he's become a skating coach since he retired from competitive skating.

He is also a "technical specialist" which is a person who checks the skaters' jumps, spins, and footwork at competitions. They help the judges give out the technical scores.

I have no idea who Keala is, so we'll see if someone else replies about her.

I don't know what she's currently doing, but Kaela Pflumm (Chris' old partner) withdrew from South Atlantic Regionals this year. She was scheduled to skate senior ladies.
