Massachusetts based coach Byron Darden has been making waves in the coaching world with a new formula for figure skating success called the MovesMaster Program.

The MoveMaster program is comprised of a series of seminars designed to provide academically based yet exciting training techniques to teach skaters of all levels and disciplines moves in the field, which include such elements as spirals, Ina Bauers and spread eagle moves, one of the most neglected elements in both pairs and singles ISU short programs.

Np hon :) I found it very interesting to interview Byron as well. Field movements are among skating's most neglected teachings, and as we know from watching skaters who demonstrate a keen sense of flexibility and polish on these moves (Sasha Cohen, Nicole Bobek and Michelle Kwan are all fine examples) they can be very effective. They are also by far the SP element with the least attention paid to, and the MovesMaster program seems to have some good principles.
