I think the coaching change is a good thing, she is making quicker progress in all aspects of her skating. She was so pleased. :)

That always happens right after a coaching change because the skater tries harder to do things right, so suddenly elements just fall into place and success blooms. Be careful not to brag that the new coach was the sole reason for her success because the would be unfair to the coach who taught her the basics.

Oh, absolutely! Nobody can take her foundation away from her which she of course got from her long time coach.
