Ok. I don't know if this is were to post this. But does anyone know under todays scoring system what would be done to break a tie? If let's say for Pairs Skating 2 Teams get the same total? How would it be determened who wins? Also anyone know if it would be settled in the same way world-wide?

If it's a sanctioned competition, then yes, it's done the same way world-wide - check out the ISU website for the complete set of rules.

I believe a tie occurred with Evan and Johnny at the 2008 US Nationals?? They had the exact same score down to the one-hundredth even. The winner was determined by who scored higher in the freeskate portion.

What about in a case of the other way around? A tie in the Free skate.

I believe they then look at who scored the highest in the technical portion of the freeskate although not 100% sure on this one.
