Sasha Cohen Withdraws from Trophée Eric Bompard

Sasha Cohen has withdrawn from the Trophée Eric Bompard event. She has been diagnosed with tendonitis in her right calf and has been advised to slow her training down over the next few weeks.
The event in Paris was going to bethe beginning of Cohen’s comeback but it will have to wait until Skate America in Lake Placid. She plans to compete in the event, taking place November 12 –15 and is confident the injury is merely a blip on her road to Vancouver.
Cohen is the 2006 Olympic silver medalist and announced last May she was returning to competitive skating.
