In today's Science Times, front page:
Science Takes to the Ice (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/23/science/23skate.html?_r=1&ref=todayspaper)
So the Science Tuesday section (at least) is available online before the print edition comes out the NEXT day????
I don't care - I still love my tangible paper over my morning (or afternoon) coffee.

Yup - and if you're following the NYT on Twitter, they post the headline the instant it appears online (or so it seems) - this is how I've been getting all of my breaking news lately - Twitter!
The world is too much with me as it is. I'll wait.

Funny that you should say that because I have definitely not been a "breaking news" sort of person but now I kind of get a kick out of announcing something at the dinner table that hasn't been reported yet (at least my husband hasn't heard it and he's an avid NPR listener (FREAK!).
I can't say I totally "get" Twitter but it is good for some things.
Good for wasting time, mostly, unlike skatingforums .

Kudos to Kat for some innovative work! Wish I had enough time in my day for something like that...
