I think that you can get one of these from a shop, called skate great. Their website is: www.skategreat.co.uk, if I am not mistaken. However, the skate spinner they sell is different from the one that you described.

OK people lets have it - which is the best spinner solely for use in the home - not bothered about 2 foot spinning.

Surly the latter one as it will move across the floor with you - just like in practice, whereas the bearing spinner wont simulate real life as well?

I have not used either one, hence your experienced comments being sought after!

Ah but you are not suppossed to move when you spin. Everglides in Portsmouth do off ice spinners. The gold one is the better of the two.

i am also looking for a skate spinner and looked on the everglides website but i can't find them anywhere....are you sure they are on the website.??

Does anyone know of a UK stockist for the flat plastic spinner as someone was asking above? I've tried one of these many years ago and they are so much better than the traditional ball bearing spinners.
