Hey other Aussies
Any news on State Competitions happening around Australia?
For what I thought about Victorians, please see my thread in On-Ice about Badly run competitions.

I'll be going to ACT champs, so I'll keep you posted. Ours are on the 10th and 11th of October. Anyone else planning on going to Nats?
Steffi came LAST at NSW champs? I know she was a guest but I actually was told she won? (But my friend thought Jo should have) Is she listed last only because she technically can't win due to the fact she lives in Brissy?

PS: I got an email from "ISA Administration" today, and it had an attachment, just warning you guys that McAfee Virus Detector found the "bugbear" virus on the attachment so DON'T OPEN IT! I don't know why they'd send anything to me anyway, but the actual email said something about a training camp, I deleted the whole thing. If anyone has a virus free version, please PM me and I'll give you my email.
The email is frome 'ISA Administration" administration@powerup.com.au with the subject ISA NATIONAL TRAINING CAMP and the attachment is called OldPowerPointDocuments.Ink.scr (68k)

I also heard Stephie won. Jo aparrently won the short but both skated badly Apparrently one of the senoir NSW judges was heard abusing those on the judging panel after the short because she didn't agree with the result so if this is true I wondre if it affected the final result.. In the long again they both skated badly but Steph won. Several of my sources also say Jo should have won both programs but I wasn't there. Steph is now training in New York with Andre and I was told her general skating has improved condiderably. Daniel Harris is also in America as is Anthony and apparrently the senior dance couple are looking at spending time in America. Has anyone heard how Bradley is going. Last I heard he was injured. I also haven't heard about Lloyd although I think their States are this weekend

Is Sean Carlow any relation to John?

Correct, Aussie Willy.
Sean is John's son from his marriage with Lis Cain (who skated pairs with her brother, Peter at the 1980 Olympics). I believe they met during the first Torvill and Dean tour here in 1984.
