I'm considering attending my first PSA Nationwide Seminar early this fall. It's in Cleveland, OH, which is roughly a two-hour drive for me; however, this Seminar is in Area 9 and I belong to Area 5. (The Area 5 Seminar is in Aston, PA, which is much farther from me.) Does anyone know if I'd be able to attend the Area 9 Seminar even though I don't belong to that particular area? I mean, this is a nationwide seminar, so I should be able to attend, right?

I took my BA exam in Delaware at either a state workshop or nationwide seminar, even though I lived in NYC and coached in NJ at the time. There are no location restrictions on any PSA seminar - they are open to anyone. Members pay a discounted rate, but nonmembers can also attend. You won't have a problem with your registration.
The Fall Seminars are very important because of the new MITF patterns and changes that are the focus of the upcoming sessions for the coaches.

BTW, judges are also invited to these seminars (for free!) to give them the opportunity to learn the new patterns before they are implemented.
REMINDER: If anyone attended the PSA Conference, don't forget to send in your educational credits affadavit! It's due within two weeks of the conference.

Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to get my registration in ASAP as I have a feeling there will be an increase in the number of coaches we see attending these seminars and workshops due to the new MIF. These revisions and additions are a large part as to why I want--or rather, need to go to a seminar soon. I didn't have a chance to get to the conference this year, and the seminars are a bit more affordable for me right now.
Again, thanks! I knew you'd be able to answer my question. :D
