I didn't want to put this under "Campbell's discussion".
Did anyone catch during those fluff pieces yesterday that Plushy said he was moving to the US in the next couple of months? Was that a joke or was he serious, anyone know??
Sorry if this has already been discussed. I haven't time to go through all the threads.

I think that was a joke. Plushenko always tells the worst jokes and they are so not funny that people take him seriously. I am not sure about this, but he was probably just trying to avoid the question.

Well, the kid is Russian after all and I guess things get lost in the translation. My mom was French Canadian and couldn't tell (or get) a joke in English if her life depended on it.
I was thinking yesterday that I'm sure Mishin and team will not come to the U.S., but one never knows. I suppose one can only hope (although I'd be much happier if he came to Canada).

Yes; Yevgeny seemed to be kidding and smiling, and added "This is a secret; don't tell nobody." (anybody)
But the way Yevgeny was talking, maybe he and team Mishin are seriously considering a move to the US or Canada.
I doubt it though..........

Any idea where that might be?
This would be such a good thing for Evgeny. If he comes to N.A., I think it will enhance his already emerging personality (only for the better). He is a dynamic young man and will only improve with age - much as Yags did when he came here. Yes, this would be very good news indeed.
Yikes - Plushy and Yags in the same country!

Hum, if it is true what happened to Mishin's
"a hungry dog works better" theory ?
That was his comment on Yags( training in US ) vs Plushy( training in Russia)

Maybe he finally realized you can eat better in the U.S.? ;) Do they have Outback Steak Houses in Moscow? I would move here just for the Bloomin' Onions.
