PSA: Group Instructor Rating

Has anyone taken the Registered Group Instructor Rating? If so, what was your experience? What type of questions did they ask you?

I will be taking the exam at the PSA Conference this month.

I have not yet taken an oral exam, but my coach has taken and passed several. She told me that attending PACE is extremely helpful with the orals. The other very important thing she told me is that if you can justify your answer, then you will get credit for it even if it is not exactly what the examiners were expecting. OTOH, there are some key words that they look for, but may well promt you for them in those cases. Good luck!

Thanks dbny. I have never really thought much about why I use the techniques that I do. I think this will be a good (although somewhat challenging) experience for me even beyond receiving the actual rating.
