Sewing for men

Has anyone bought a tuxedo for skating and then had it altered considering there is no stretch? Looking for the best way to do this. Any other tips for sewing for men?

As someone who makes dresses for skaters, I would NEVER suggest using a fabric with no stretch. Insofar as a "tuxedo" is concerned, I believe Specialty Sportswear has a pattern for a male costume that would pass as a tuxedo .... I'd go that route.
