Magnetic snaps

Has anybody tried them on skating clothing?

Not on skating clothing but ... my cousin has them on her riding jacket (which she wears all the time), and she constantly finds herself getting stuck to doors and picking up unwanted things in stores and restaurants. It's pretty funny actually.

But the ordinary steel of blades aren't stainless... it's carbon steel... Only paramount and something from Ultima Jackson has stainless.

I don't think a magnetic snap will have the power to hold blade there though! :lol:

What I'm wondering though, why will you want to put magnetic snaps on a dress? If it's a halter dress, I certainly hope that's not the only closure for the dress! If not, a fall may jolly well unsnap the dress! and yeah, figure out the rest.. :D

Actually I was thinking for a costume where you half-way through the programme need to remove a part of the costume. Velcro is not invisible, and with press buttons, they're kind of hard to pull free and have only a small attachment area. With a very thin material I'm afraid it may rip.

That's a good idea
The Big Guy and I have been working on a light entertainment routine where I'm bugs bunny and he's elmer fudd. There was some fiddly stuff with the costume I needed for a quick transition, and magnetic snaps might solve it.
