While looking at Regional results, I noticed the team of Bos/Holdburg decided to move down to Novice. They competed Juniors at Placid.

Also, does anyone know if Bird, Braasch, Carter or Slattery have picked up new partners?

At Placid, like at some local competitions, you can skate "up" a ranking. Nationally, you can't. They are Novice. You can't go backwards once you've moved up.

Holdburg has competed as a Novice for at least 3 years, and I guess he feels he hasnt progressed enough to move up a level.

Brent could probably compete junior, but this is partner's first year, so they are probably trying to ease her in. I saw them at Placid and I really enjoyed thier style, very pretty team to watch. She's a doll, and he's not too bad looking either :P haha. Just a really pleasant team to watch. But I think they made a good choice by going novice. I hope they do great this year!!
