OT- what about Davis and White's free dance. Brought me to tears.
I don't usually watch dance, but since Belbin & Agosto weren't skating, I figured it was an opportunity to learn some other names, lol.

I thought it was wonderful and I loved the "working class background" commentary as well. He sleeps at the rink overnight because he also cuts the ice and it's easier than going home given the schedule, lol. Great story.

One of the twins came down with a stomach virus last night, so she was put to bed early. I saved the dance event recording for her - she loves ice dance.

I didn't watch the whole dance event but wasn't that the story of the 2nd-place Pairs team? Or was there a similar story in the Dance? Will have to go back and watch sometime I guess.

Does the US also announce four continents teams? or do they just simply send their top 3 to 4C's?

I like the slow section of D/W free dance, not so much once the music pick up in the second half.

The rest of the dancing was boring to me, although I thought the 4th place couple, the Hubells, have great potential.

I have no idea about dance other than if I like it, I like it. The most boring of the 4 events, because outside of becoming human zambonis, there was no way D&W were going to lose. S&B were a nice surprise to me, but I was disheartened by N&B - cool music, but it was boring, a drop in expectations since the last 3 years have been awesome.

'human zambonis...' I just find that hysterical :lol: They were beautiful though. I enjoyed all of the performances I guess since I'm doing mostly dance now.
