Hello everybody. Usually I am not concerned with Sasha, but something about this article seemed fascinating to me. In it, she explains when she started thinking about switching her environment and coaches. I am not sure if this article has already been mentioned somewhere, and if so, sorry for the repetition!

I found this part especially interesting...

"The first day I considered changing my environment was the day of the long program at worlds, and after I skated, I realized there is something going on here. In practice, I was the most consistent skater, barely missing a thing all week. But I missed three to four things in competition.

"There was something I was not doing right and something in my training causing me to do not as well as I should be." "

Thanks for the link. One of the things I have always admired about Sasha is here ability to define what it is that she needs to work on, and her willingness and ability to go out and get it fixed! She doesn't mince words. She seems honest and open in evaluating herself. I was so impressed with the progress she made last season, I can't wait to see what she does this year.
