Funniest skating routines?

What are the funniest skating routines you have ever seen?

I am thinking of Kurt Browning's "Slippery Side Up" but I know there must be lots more!

I'd have to say Scott Hamilton has several that would top the list. His "Figaro" routine always makes me laugh, no matter how many times I've seen it.

There's also Kristi's "Oh So Quiet" which I love.

But I don't think anyone will ever top Debi Thomas's Wanda Beazel.

I don't remember that at all -thanks for sharing it. Hilarious - she never broke character. I especially liked the beginning when they're cheering for Debi Thomas and she looks around like "What's everyone looking at ME for?" lol

I was thinking that too... Her "spiral" is about as good as I can do on my bad side. My crossovers aren't THAT clompy, but my coach would probably say they are!

Just about any Scott Hamilton comedic program - but skaters should appreciate his "Saber Dance" where he acts out a kid in his first competition...especially the telegraphing of his lutz...

And I can relate to his Hungarian Rhapsody when he brings out the oxygen mask!

What I always appreciated about Scott Hamilton's routines, was they were funny but he actually SKATED unlike some of the more contemporary comedic acts...

B&E's "Patricia the Stripper" gets my vote too.

Gary Beacom's "I'm Your Man" always made me laugh, but too bad it was just about the only program he skated for about 3 years.

Scottie's "Figaro" and "Walk This Way," and Kurt's "Rag-Gideon-Time," "Here I Am," and "Scarecrow" are right up there too.

I have to give my vote to Debi Thomas' Wanda Beazel. I still laugh every time I see it. She did it a couple of times and every time made it a little bit different and a little funnier. I forget which exhibition it was but there was one when she was trying to get flowers from the sweeper and kept falling over. Hysterical!

Scot Hamilton's "In The Mood" with the clucking chickens soundtrack. The first time I saw this he wore a chicken suit (think Big Bird on ice skates) and I practically fell off my chair laughing.

He first did that for an encore at the Worlds Exhibitions back in 1981....the I don't remember seeing him in the chicken suit...but Brian Boitano donned a chicken suit and did that number at Scott's comeback/tribute after his cancer battle. To me that was REALLY funny because Boitano just doesn't do that sort of thing.

The crowd "got it" within about 3 notes of music.. then realized if she fell, there was NO way she could get up... so it felt like everyone held their breath and applause until the very end.

I really like Jason Graetz, especially his routine Figaro. It is like if he had rubber legs. How can ge get up from a nearly split position without using his arms? (2:19-2:22) :bow:
