Hey, does anybody know where to download an ice rink for the Sims 1 ???
I can only find it for the Sims 2, and my laptop's too slow to run 2, even though I have the game.

Hmmmm.....I guess you could check on the Sims2.com.....someone might have made one for the Sims 1. It's been so long that I've played the SIms 1 that I don't know if you can get a rink. Where can you get one for SIms 2? I've gotten re-addicted to 2 since getting a couple of expansion packs. :D

I thought the only way to get one was to buy the expansion pack "Seasons" for Sims 2. As far as I know, there isn't one for Sims 1. Didn't they stop making expansion packs for Sims 1 once Sims 2 came out?

This makes me want to play Sims again. I stopped playing because it's a huge time-sucker. I'd start at 7 and the next time I looked at the clock, it would be midnight! 8O

Nevermind, I found one!

It's basically a hacked rug (living large expansion-based) and a hacked doorway, combined with a white floor tile that looks like ice. Once they step through the doorway they start skating instead of walking, though if they'd really skate like that they'd be pushing with their toepiks, and also sometimes the transformation back to normal walking doesn't work - fortunately, as long as you only do it on a common lot, one they step into the taxi they're fine again. Another thing that irks me is that the transformation to skates instead of shoes doesn't work for some reason on my omputer. So they skate on their shoes. Ohwell, in sims 1, you can't really zoom in very high-qual anyway, doesn't bug me too much.

However, they can do an attitude spin from like the start, but before they can "jump" (which are just bunnyhops anyway) they need 4 body points! In my book, attitude spins are seriously more difficult than bunny hops, LOL! I was hoping for at least a toeloop in the game, but no such luck.

They do BEAUTIFUL spirals though! Almost Sascha Cohen.

I love how it has square corners. I've never played Sims, but if it's like what I've heard, it would be funny if a Sim got stuck in a corner and couldn't figure out how to get out.
