Say this is a question that I've always wondered about. We know that freestylers have come back from retirement. But does anyone know if it's possible for the same partners of a retired Pair or Ice-Dance Team to get back together? Maybe for good?

Sure it's possible, though I can't think of any examples where it has happened.

A lot of time when a pair splits due to retirement, only one of the partnership actually retires- and then the other of the partnership finds a new partner. So if the one who retires wanted to come back, s/he'd have to find a new partner as well, because their old one is already taken. But if they both retired, there is no reason (as long as they both maintained their eligibility) that they could not come back together.

Didn't Naomi Lang and Peter Tchernyshev stop skating together when they retired from competition, but got back together after a while to do pro tours?
