Well, this is a fluffy comp, right? If it follows a regular competition format, I would give the nod to Sarah. I suspect that she will be the best prepared, and best able to deliver the goods. Sasha seems to be struggling----hopefully just with incorporating TT's input. Of course, AP is pretty stunning, and she hasn't been on tour.....

I admit I voted for who I WANT to win. I haven't seen any of the programs and don't know what to expect, which is kind of fun, and all are wonderful competitors . . . so I voted for my fav, Michelle Kwan(even though she's probably the least prepared with a new LP)!

Because I want her to and also it is a fluffy comp.
But then again because this is a fluff, the "current Olympic gold medalist" may win by default <shrug>

I think it will go one of two ways. Either Michelle Kwan or Sarah Hughes. If Sasha skates clean, she could bring the house down but assuming those three all skate clean, then its a toss up between Kwan and Hughes IMO.

I hope ABC shows Ann Patrice McDonough though. :)

I bet Michelle will win with Sasha being a close 2nd. APM will shock everyone by skating a brilliant performance but Sarah will nevertheless hold onto 3rd.

To me, Sasha sounds much more prepared than Sarah or Michelle. If what I read somewhere online was right, Sarah still hadn't started working on or maybe even choosing her programs as of late August. Michelle didn't start skating again until the week of 9/11.

I won't be surprised if AP does best. I found her SP the most impressive in person at Nationals. While the other US ladies were on tour or busy with other activities, she had the entire summer to get her new programs ready. I think VV and Jen could surprise as well.

That's exactly why I voted for Sarah. If they all skate cleanly with comparable programs, I think she'll take it easily as the reigning Olympic Champion.
