Melissa Gregory was injured in a fall last year. However, they are still skating and they are giving a clinic at the Lake Placid Adult Week next week!

I don't know anything about Melissa and Denis's competition plans, but you can certainly fall in ice dance! You can catch an edge or a toe pick, trip over your own or your partner's blades, or just generally lose your balance. Heavens, people at public sessions fall down just skating in circles around the rink all the time! Falls are certainly not limited to jumping. I don't know the specific cause of the fall that caused Melissa's injury, though.

Say does anyone know exactly what happened? As I don't remember any details made public.
