Does anyone happen to know the correct pernouciation of her last name? I've always wondered how it's pronounced. BTW. anyone have any resent pics of her for a folder I'm making? Thanks.

The USFS media guide says Bulanhagui's name is pronounced Boo-lan-HAA-gee.

Say,btw. does anyone know how long she's been competing? Did she start in 2007? Because I don't see anything listed for her before that.

Her official site http://www.figureskatersonline.com/melissabulanhagui/ says in 2003 she was 9th place in Novice for her Region. It is likely she competed for many years previous to that at the lower levels which wouldn't likely be part of her official bio. Since her offiial bio says she began skating at age six, it wouldn't be suprising if her first competition was a local competition around 1996 or 1997. Many skaters compete in their first year or two.
