"Figure skating fans are in for a treat this weekend. CBC will be televising highlights of the 2007-2008 figure skating season this Saturday, May 3, from 2 pm to 6 pm ET.
The four hours of coverage will include two hours from the 2008 BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships (pairs free and men's free) and most of the Gala at the 2008 ISU World Figure Skating Championships, with the addition of some free skates including Jeff Buttle’s gold medal performance and other Canadian free skates as well.
Canada dominated at this year’s World Championships held in Gothenburg, Sweden, March 17-23, 2008. Jeff Buttle became World Champion while Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir won the silver medal in dance and Jessica Dubé and Bryce Davison won bronze in pairs. "
