Ok friends!!!!! Time to please tell me in your own words what you think it might be like if you were a Synchronized Skater. Please include Teams you would want to be on. For me in my own words. I've thought about it. But don't know too much of a typical day. So in my own words I guess you could say that if I was a Synchronized Skater. I most likely being friendly would find myself with about 12- 23 more friends. Or at least a lot out of the bunch. LOL. As I'm not sure who would be nice to me. I would find myself surely not wanting to wait to skate. I would diffenetely want to go out there and try moves right away at least with some skaters. I would be the most friendiless Synchro. on the ice. LOL. Ok kids....your turn.

Although I was aware of syncho I'd never actually took the time to watch any
I just watched a montage on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXjlCX6MBOY
WOW.... was excellent, lovely to watch 16 athletes perform in perfect time with each other and flawless. What's more whoever made the video used requiem for a dream for the music overlay (amazing choice)

I so badly wanted to be a precision skater when I was a kid- and am so glad that I've finally been able to live my dream.
Synchro skating is amazing- hooked up with a team you just FLY down the ice. I could never imagine attaining these speeds on my own. It's especially fun to be on the end of a pinwheel.
We have 11 skaters on our team. Our team practices once a week from 7:30-9:00. Sometimes we do half an hour of off ice and an hour on ice, sometimes we are lucky and get an hour and a half on ice.
We just got back from ISI nationals. The thrill of stepping off the ice having just skated our best possibe program (our short program, in this case) was wonderful. It made all the work during the year worth it (and made the price worth it!).
Skating is usually such an individual sport, it's so nice to have a way to share it with friends. I wouldn't want to be on any other team than my own right now. Hopefully if we move in the future, I'll find a team that is just as welcoming there.

Let's see - long drives in the car at very odd hours to get to a freezing cold rink to practice.
Not being able to go away for Christmas or February vacation because of practice ice.
Taking moves/freestyle/ice dance lessons in spare time.
Doing homework in spare time.
Being very exhausted most nights, but still staying up until 2AM to get the AP History project done.
Feeling pretty lousy, but still having to go to practice to sit and watch the others skate, so you don't miss the change in any program.
Of course, I'm just the mother of a synchro skater, and this is what I have to deal with, and the $$$$$$$ bill...
