Well, since I only skate freestyle and dance, as well as the fact that I'm an ex-synchro skater, I'll give you my idols from those three.

Ladies: The classic Kristi Yamaguchi. She's elegant, graceful, and oh-so-talented. But now with Kristi out of the big picture in skating, I enjoy watching the "Asian Invasion" as Dick Button put it during Worlds. Seeing those young, talented girls is really inspirational. I also like Sasha Cohen who often has to work for what she wants to achieve, but never stops trying. Like me, she can be consistently inconsistent, LOL.

Dance: I love, love, love Tanith and Ben! They are a joy to watch, so entertaining, and can really express to the audience and draw you in. They have yet to skate a program I haven't enjoyed and I'd love to see them bring home another Olympic medal in 2010.

Synchro: Team Surprise and the Crystallettes are among my favs. I recently had the chance to watch the Crystallettes live and they were amazing! I love their "Emotion" themed program because they really do bring a lot of emotion to the ice and give you a sense of togetherness. Even watching their official practice, they are always on, always performing. And, they are the nicest bunch of girls I've met in the skating world! The same goes for Team Surprise, although I have never seen them skate live (but I'd love to!). They demonstrate a great deal of teamwork and unison necessary to be a successful synchro team. They combine fast flow with difficult footwork and edges and their lifts are pretty nice as well. I was so happy to see them win at last year's Worlds!
