Josee Chouinard has a little white fluffy dog
I think Alexei Yagudin has a cocker spaniel called Lawrence
I remember Pasha Grishuk has a cocker spaniel as well
Irina Slutskaya has a puppy called Bars

OK, so I'm not an elite skater, but I couldn't resist answering anyway.

I have a cat, called Mortimer. He's 2. White, with small bits of black on tail and face.
He catches flies (good) and birds (bad). He is so tolerant of the children, and very affectionate.
I watched him being born on 1st May 2000.

In addition to their dog, Kurt and Sonia also have a cat named Cali (the cat was their first pet, and they got her several years before the dog).

Tara Lipinski has about five or six dogs, one of whom, Brandy, recently died from cancer (she talks about it in her latest diary entry). One of Tara's dogs is named Coco, but I don't know the names of any of the others.

Michelle Kwan has a little dog (a Chihuahua?) She took it on tour with her this year, but I can't remember the dog's name.

Sasha Cohen has a cat, but again, I can't remember the name.

I also don't know the name of Josée's dog--does anyone else?

IIRC, Jayne Torvill had/has a dog called Fred. I think she may have another one too, but I'm not sure.

Toller Cranston has always had English Setters. The current one (as of 'Zero Tollerance') is Flora, and he also talked about one named Minkus, that was stolen and returned in 1986. He says those two dogs were/are his favorites.

Pasha's dog, I believe, is named Vanya.

Oksana Baiul has a chihuahua she takes along on tour.

Shepherd Clark is a cat person.

Brian Orser has dogs, but I forget the details, except that one is or was named Sasha (which I remember, because that's one of my dogs' names, too.)

Jennifer Robinson and Shane have 2 Rat Terriers
called Max and Harley. They are really cute.

Josée's dog is named...oh man, I have NO idea how to spell it, but it sounds like Sharlo. (it's probably spelled something more like Charleau or something)
Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon have a dog, but I don't know it's name.

I remember a program that Abitobol and Bernadis did (I think it was the exhibition after they won a bronze medal at Worlds in France-- maybe 2000?). Anyway...when they were done and taking bows, a very petite and adorable little terrier type dog came dancing out onto the ice, draped in the French flag. I think it might have been Sarah's dog. Too cute.

A lot of skaters have animals that are small enough to travel well (or so they think, actually big guys usually travel quite well too, think guidedogs).

My (almost) most recent girl dog was a seasoned traveler with her "mom" who does some of the smaller show circuits...g

Sasha has two cats(Mia, the white one at SLC and Meow) and one dog named Mocha which looked like pomeranian(sp?) or chihuahua. He could be a mix. Those are spelled right b/c that's how it's spelled at her official site.

Elena Bechke has (or had) an English Springer Spaniel (great dogs, by the way!). Brian Boitano would love to have a dog, but he's gone too much to have one. I've seen Surya Bonaly on TV with a little dog that she brings along on tour.
