Emily Hughes Withdraws from Nationals

"Hughes is suffering from a hip injury, which will prevent her not only from competing but also training.

“I'm extremely disappointed to have to miss the U.S. Championships,” Hughes said. “This is a competition I've been looking forward to all season.”

“This injury is just really bad timing,” Hughes continued. “I hope to be able to begin serious training again in four to six weeks.”"

Oh, that's too bad. Hope it's not a serious injury and that she recovers quickly.

Awwwwwwwww,I surely wish her a speedy recovery. She's one of my true favs. and is too pretty a skater not to skate. How and when did she get hurt? The poor thing. Anyone know what her next scheduled competition is?

Ok Stupid question. But if she doesnt skate at nat's doesnt that take her out of the rest of the big comps this year?
