I just discovered that the "printable" version of Heather's schedule is not exactly the same as the original.

For example, the Hallmark listing on the main screen says the Sat. night program is the Artistic Programs but the printable version says Ladies and Pairs. On Sunday, the main screen lists the technical program, while the printable version says it will be the men shown at that time.

Does anyone know which is correct?

Thanks.: :?:

Does anyone know if they are going to re-show the Europeans because the NASA space shuttle took over that channel. Thanks!

It's already scheduled to be repeated on Thursday on ESPN. I don't know if ABC will reschedule. I bet they haven't decided yet.

Uh-oh -- I just checked my TV listings for tomorrow (Oct. 19), and ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 are all solid college football all afternoon. Anyone know if ABC will be airing Campbell's later in the week in some areas? Thanks!!

Oh, gosh, I was looking at the wrong day. Our Saturday paper has listings for both days, but I was looking in the wrong column. Feeling very sheepish now!! :-) Thanks, Bondo.

I wish/hope Heather will update soon. I have a feeling some of the information is available on broadcasts for competitions but she doesn't have anything about them yet. I depend on her so, I hope she does it soon. I need to organize and plan my life around these things, for heaven's sake.

All I've found so far in the way of competitions is:

Grand Prix Beijing, Sept. 12, 9 pm - 12 am, ESPN.

I think that must be a repeat of last year's. The Cup of China event doesn't take place until November. The first grand prix event, as always, is Skate America (October 20-23).

I actually met Heather at Skate America. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that it was she until the following night when her seat stayed empty and I asked about her. Too bad. Had I known who she was, I would have thanked her for keeping me updated for lo these many years.

Is it me or does the coverage skating shows on CN8 seem....bad? The "hosts" talk incessantly and drown out the music, while the cameraperson zooms in and out repeatedly and doesn't seem to get that skating is dancing on ice and people want to also see the feet of the skater??? Or am I too picky?

I watched the "An Evening with Champions" that I had taped and finally turned the volume down. I couldn't hear the music of the skaters because the 2 hosts were talking soo much. It was bad. :frus:

They showed "Halloween on Ice" and that was very nice-because it was a show there were no hosts to give commentary. Camera direction seemed a bit better.

I was looking forward to the skating marathon on ESPN all week. Couldn't wait for seven straight hours of the best moments in figure skating. But no. Down here in North Carolina we were treated to 7 straight hours of college football. Ugh! Anyone else have the same experience?
