Not much to spoil here because I don't think the event will be televised in the US/Canada.
The match took place in Yokohoma Japan. It's an invitational competition but gives us a glimpse of how well some of the top skaters prepared for the upcoming 07-08 season. The match features some popular skaters.
From the US team: Johnny Weir (he did very well), Mirai Nagasu, Caroline Zhang (her layback - biellman was very impressive), and Rachel Flatt, etc.
The Japanese team has Mao Asada (one of my favorite skaters who delivered strong triples), Miki Ando (06-07 World Champion) and Daisuke Takahashi (06-07 World Silver). Miki and Daisuke seemed unprepared.
